For this assignment, I decided to use my pictures from Dallas rode and my friend’s apartment. I used Manual for most of my pictures (apart from the one with the pyramid, I used auto for that) I used a tripod inside and handheld for outside. The photos I selected seemed the most interesting to me and were all so different. I look forward to editing these in lightroom to upgrade them.

Size

I used size for this barge that was in the distance on the beach.

Exif File:

  • ISO: 100
  • F-Number: f/13.0
  • Exposure time: 1/640
  • Mettering mode: multi

Depth

I used my two friends as leading lines for depth. They are both covering the left and right sides of the photo so your eyes will follow through the the middle.

Exif File:

  • ISO: 160
  • F-Number: f/5.6
  • Exposure time: 1/500
  • Mettering mode: multi

Color

I loved how this girl had purple socks, a purple pen, and bangs. It really makes them pop.

Exif File:

  • ISO: 160
  • F-Number: f/5.60
  • Exposure time: 1/500
  • Mettering mode: multi

Texture

I used my friend’s fur as a texture when she was laying down. Lots of different movement and lines that this picture encompasses

Exif File:

  • ISO: 2500
  • F-Number: f/4.8
  • Exposure time: 1/60
  • Mettering mode: multi

Form

These leaves and oranges show form really nice in my opinion.

Exif File:

  • ISO: 3200
  • F-Number: f/5.6
  • Exposure time: 1/30
  • Mettering mode: multi

Shape

I had to use this pyramid for shape. The light reflecting off the one side drew me to it so much. Lots of depth and shows the shape of it.

Exif File:

  • ISO: 720
  • F-Number: f/4.5
  • Exposure time: 1/60
  • Mettering mode: multi

Lines

I used the blanket hamper as lines.

Exif File:

  • ISO: 3200
  • F-Number: f/4.5
  • Exposure time: 1/25
  • Mettering mode: multi
